I don't get why so many are mad at Dish for taking away Voom. Voom was a demo package. They had a chance to make great channels with NEW content and instead aired repeats. If Voom wanted to stay on they would have spent the time building a real network. Don't blame Dish for making the obvious...

I'm just glad Charlie can sleep at night knowing that they are the "HD leader*". *Our claims of estimated channel count is based on the "1,2 skip a few" method of counting. Any factual claims are purely coincidental and are not base on reality.

I would drop all of the Voom channels. They were nice when I first signed up now they are a waste of bandwidth. I'll trade the Voom channels for one good HD network that doesn't blow.

Fox sports has always had poor HD. If you have ever watch the world series on Fox you would know the horror that they pass to us. If I had any power Fox would never show another sports event again.

I dislike Fox sports for having poor HD most of the time. Its always fuzzy....

I hadn't see it for a few weeks and today I seen it twice playing back Lost.

As great as that would be there isn't such a thing as a never ending "gimmie" trial.

Dish is giving you what the broadcaster is sending. If they are sending SD upconverted thats what Dish pushes out. Most channels only have a few shows in HD.

The only thing Dish will have up their sleeve is the missing jokers from companies deck of cards. All of their aces are on the ground waiting to be launched.

Baseball on Fox isn't much better when they move the compression slider to its lowest setting.

When they added it for me Max was on in under a minute. No waiting at all...

I just got signed up and didn't have any issues at all. It hasn't shown up online yet but I had the channel up and running seconds after getting off the phone.
