Really don't know what all the fuss is. McMahons enterprise WWE in my opinion has become very boring and predictable when it comes to the wrestling matches; especially the monthly over priced ppv events. I stopped watching them years ago.

Does or will the VIP722K have 3D capabilities to be able to watch the 3D PPV and or 3D programming when Dish makes it available? I know the new Hopper dvr has it built in already, but was not sure if the 722K did.

Not so sure I agree as in action movies specifically shot in 3D always go for the "WOW" factor ie items being thrown or pointed directly to the cameras/viewers. To me that is what sets 3D movies apart from the standard 2D.

I actually have plenty of 3D to watch as I use DVD Fab to convert 2D-3D and even my Samsung 43 inch plasma 3D tv has a 2D-3D function. Both do a pretty decent job of adding the 3D effect if you just have to have 3D to view. Since I have Dish also, I have not seen ESPN 3D so I don't know how...

I called Dish an the advanced techs said they were aware of this issue an it was occuring with all thier HD DVR models...is it ocurring with yours?

Thanks for that replay...Sounds confusing when your working with 2 tv 1 dvr. Maybe the installer did explain it but we misunderstood as I am sure he is trained in these areas as you are.

I actually show tv1 lit green and tv2 lit blue. Mode selection also shows icon of single tv and 2 tv light with the 2 being lit an the color of that one is orange. So this is in dual mode?

Thanks! I checked the reciever and mode indicator is lit with the 2 tv icon being the lit one then there are 2 other indicators saying tv1 and tv2. As of now both are showing lit with tv1 light being green and tv2 light being blue. So this is dual mode?

Remote Just get a Logitech Harmony remote..It is 200 bucks and most would say that is a crazy price to pay for a remote but I can tell you this...You can literally do away with all your other remotes including you 922...It is that good.

Just goes to show it wasnt true Dolby 5.1 as my system detects any TRUE dolby 5.1 sound and automatically switches to it and if not it decodes it as stereo x2. I have the MGMHD channel also and depending on how recent the movie determines what it was recorded in.

Dd 5.1 Yes he is correct as it is being broadcast in DD 5.1 you will need to invest in at least a 300 to 400 watt system with at least 20 watt rear speakrs to really enjoy the sound w/o cranking it up way louder
