agreed. or in my case i get distants due to directv not carrying my locals. I know dish does but only in SD I like having ABC & FOX in HD from Los Angeles and New York :) (there is no ABC or FOX in my market)

i assume so. i dont have dish so dont know how the alt channels work. i know on directv they have specific channels for the "part time" rsn's. so as example fsn wisconsin is 669 (sd) and 669-1 (hd)

fsn wisconsin is a part time channel on dish and is only up on the alt channels for brewers, bucks and badger hockey games

sure they did. Its used mainly for Bell setups as there are only 2 sats but Bell does use a DPP Quad. Been out for 2 1/2 years and even a thread here at satelliteguys http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads/268516-DPP-Quad-amp-DPP44-coming-to-Bell-TV-October-23rd

yes not AAD but distants from NY & LA are an option. if you have a rv you get them. i get abc & fox from la due to no local affiliate (directv doesnt carry my locals)

nah they'll gain that back. Probably the same amount of directv subs who would leave because of insp no longer paying so they were dropped

ok so you are in the lafayette tv market and on western arc. i see cst is on spotbeam and in the same spotbeam as your locals in sd (standard definition) so you should get it.
