    $5 a month my a**. Try $5 a month for the VOOM package, PLUS $5 a month for something called "DVR service fee", PLUS $10 a month for the HD package, PLUS another $5 a month if you don't have a phone line attached.

    Timm...my point is that I specifically asked the CSR "Is that the TOTAL cost for the package, $14.95" and he said "Yes." Don't you think he SHOULD have mentioned the extra $10/mo.??? Whatever, I have calmed down and will pay the stupid ten bucks because I want my VOOM!!!!

    Radio Shack is a great outlet for Dish. NOT!! I called 3 local Radio Shacks about buying a 942 and all 3 said they only sold the 921 and had never even heard of a 942. Duh! None of them had ever heard of VOOM either. Double Duh!

    Thanks so much. That's what I needed to know. I am going for the 942 and did confirm you must subscribe to the Dish HD package first (which I don't need since I get all the channels via cable) and THEN you can add the VOOM channels. Oh well, it's worth $15 a month to me to get the 10 VOOM...

    After Voom ended, I switched to TWC and am very happy with their HD lineup, HD-DVR, and PQ. But now that Dish has some of the Voom channels available, I want to subscribe just for the Voom package, I really miss Monster, Rave, and Equator. I understand I will also have to get their HD package...
