    issue will be with 1000.4 dish tuning rather than problem with 722. power #1 port from receiver and tune from the #2 port works the best for me. you really need a good self powered tuner sch as a sat buddy to make your life alot easier.

    try turning one side off when in dual mode, and see it works ok. if it works ok shut that one off and try the other side for ok operation. if problem exists only when both sides are on then problem will more than likely be the cable or connections, not the receiver.

    always do a check switch : menu 6 1 1 select "check switch" and then "test" wait 10 mins. to a 1/2 hr for receiver to authorize.this is normal for receivers that have been unplugged for a certain amount of time

    still works the same way with that dish also.you should be ok in wisconsin,if the tree situation isn't too bad.it will only pickup 119 and 129. not all of them together

    yes, depending though where you are located.go a little down and to the west,from the 110/119 setup,and do a check switch.you will lose the 110 and pick up the 129.
