If you keep comcast's basic service do you get the lower rate for internet? If so, why don't you downgrade to their basic service and not get local channels from Dish Network? That would be saving you $5 on every package if you don't get them because locals cost $5 in addition to the package price.

Encore east is only included with the Starz package.

They don't include Encore East because they want you to upgrade to the Starz package which includes that and all Starz channels.

You have to be in a certain area to get that channel. If you don't live in the area that get's that specific Fox Sports channel you have to get the Multi-Sport package which I think is $5 a month extra and you will get all of the Fox Sport channels.

It comes to the cable companies and satellite companies as one channel but when you decode it would make it many different channels and as I said before Dish doesn't have the room to carry all these channels.

Every local forecast on the weather channel is a different channel. Dish Network has no room to provide all of those channels to everyone.
