One difference I notice from the genie to the hopper is the genie would automatically choose the best format to fill the screen such as when watching older shows; on dish network I have to do this manually with the * button. Is there a setting I am missing?

Had the install yesterday, about an hour after I called to sign up. I went with the hopper, a super joey, and a wireless joey. Decided didn't need it on the fourth tv.

When I log in now all options except billing and restart service is greyed out. I think I will email dish after I receive the box to return the receiver and ask them to confirm that I need to return receiver #### and do not need to return #### because it is an owned receiver.

I had the free HBO/Starz, but the 3 months was up and had it removed a few days ago. Today I am getting the SD Starz channels and don't know why. I have the HD absolute package, so if it was a free preview I would think I would also get the Starz HD channels.

I already like dish, and if they add the new channels coming in April to the absolute package, I will instantly became a huge fan! Add Speed and I will have all the channels the family wants (except premiums).
