I am a 10 year plus, loyal customer running 3 HD receivers.... If Dish drops AMC I will be switching to Direct, and when/if it happens Dish will have a clear understanding concerning my dissatisfaction.

It's not setup that way..... The drive space is not partitioned, you either "fill it up" with 55 hd hours or an equivalent amount of sd hours... Just record something and notice that both types of available hour decrease no matter which type of recording you made.

I have a similar (HDMI complaint) thread going the the HD subforum....... I wonder if Dish will surrender and swap out the flawed 612's for 722's if a customer demands fully/correctly functioning HDMI? I think I will float the idea by them.....
