Some have commented here that "Disk" is better than DISH if only marginally. Is that because DISH is doing that good of a job or that the medium of "Disk" has not been fully optimized/utilized as of yet?

I just got off the phone with DISH and the CSR alluded that with the end of the current rebate program for existing customers who want to upgrade to the VIP622 for $199.00, a new promotion could begin tomorrow that will only be $149.00 upfront but the rebate would not be as significant if any.:what

I am not experiencing any issues on my system. I have the ParaSound AVC-2500u, and I use the optical connection exclusively with my 811.
