    I am in one of the other 'claimed areas" by the Cardinals - it seems to be on 418 (Midwest), 441 HD feed from ?, 443 HD feed from ? and 447(SD), 449(SD) I have access to 418, 441, and 449 (it looks like 443 and/or 447 is your best option being in Astro market - good luck

    Perhaps they violate the NFL boundary restrictions and/or the time restriction for replays - for example there is a time limit (24 hours if I remember correctly - can't find the reference ) for MLB until replays can be seen outside the local area

    Could you be confusing this with the Titanium package that Directv was offering? That was everything they offered (pay tv included and multiple receivers) and was thousands of dollars but not for life Mentioned here...

    it is on the Philadelphia comcast "locally" which is not carried by Dish (except through the Center Ice package sometimes) and is carried by the CBC for the Canadiens (which again will be on the Center ice package)

    It could be due to NBC's rights to broadcast the NHL on Sunday afternoon exclusively. They have the Bruins and Rangers nationally This happened last year with at least one Montreal/Ottawa game. <rant warning> - NBC is notorious for not broadcasting any games with a Canadian team or teams...

    Wow - Taking that at face value (that they refuse to install a VIP receiver on a non HDTV) that really puts a different spin on it. You could always purchase one directly and "install" it yourself Assuming of course that you don't need/already have the dishes pointing at 61.5/129
