    If a carrier wanted to offer MLB EI, they had to offer MLBN on a non-premium tier of programming. Dish had the opportunity, and chose to be tight-wads. 2 months later, I switched to another satellite provider.

    Has there been any word on Dish Network being able to broadcast MLB Network when it launches in January? From what I recall this was bundled within the negotations for MLB Extra Innings. I need to know if I am going to be forced to switch providers in January....

    I just sent one to ceo@xxx - my lousy bill is 83.53 now. This includes LEASED RECEIVER FEE, A200 w/LOCALS, DISH HD ULTIMATE, DVR SERVICE FEE, and tax. I think that is getting a little out of hand. Meanwhile sit and watch DirecTV add the HD, and proved MLB EI, and HD locals.... I love E*...
