It's definitely a requirement to have all HD receivers to get Turbo (I don't think you need a long term commitment tho). CEO initially refused my request because I still had an old 311 listed on my account for some reason. I assured him there was no 311 in use and that my receivers were a 622...

I got upgraded to Gold early last week by emailing CEO. I then called regular E* CS and had them bump it to Platinum. So nice to have my RSNs in HD back! Already watched 2 Laker games on it that I otherwise would have missed.

Sorry to res this thread like a n00b- but reading through it am I still accurate in saying that as an existing customer with the original HD Standalone pack ($29.99) that I still cannot get my RSNs (FSN and Prime Ticket) in HD? And that attempting to add the $5.99 Sport Pack will not work?

I gotta say, the HD only pack kicks a lot of a$$. I've been saving some serious money, I get to keep on using my 622 and I get all the programming I want. But yea, outsourced CS blows no matter what it's for.

I think it's the storm (us asking where the hell is new national HD) before the calm (Wed comes and goes without even so much as an uplink to a new channel from E*) before the storm (we go back to complaining and reading posts of people jumping ship to D*). :D

HD LILs have been a priority for E* at the expense of everything else. Do we want Sci Fi HD here at US Sat Guys? You bet! But Charlie thinks that rolling out HD locals all over the damn place is more important to his business model. He's probably right, but I don't give a shiat. Battlestar...

Actually, I am fairly certain I know which week it will be lit. Does anyone know when the finale is for BSG? It'll be the week after that.

There are places to watch new BSG episodes on the web. That was always my back up plan since I got the HD Only pack. Looks like plan B is in effect! /frickin Charlie
