    Ok. But then I have to ask what is the point of having an option to record the entire event? That implies the DVR will know when the program ends the broadcast, if it runs over. Am I misunderstanding the intent of that option?

    Recording Cut short but shows full length timer

    Had this happen yesterday when I DVR'd the Tour de France. Timer said it had 3:30 but the recording stopped soon after the 2 hour mark. No known weather or power issues. VIP 722 F/w L618

    First time I noticed this thread. My 722 was installed in January 2009. Max: 138 Min: 123 Avg: 125 I knew the darn thing was hot!
