This is pretty frustrating. ABC and PBS swithed to VHF. Well, I have a UHF antenna. May signal quality on ABC went from 98 to 53. :mad: I thought I read somewhere they weren't going to VHF until 2010 or 2011. I guess I was wrong.

Any idea how my bill will change? DVR advantage 250 with platinum HD, two 622s? Thanks. I think it's going up $13, but I hope I'm wrong.

I went the MLB.tv route and I'm not that impressed. A lot of break ups, stalls and I have DSL at 1.4 mb. I have dish and don't want to switch so I'll have to live with it.

I wonder if the new 5.1 takes a second to process and that causes the delay? I think the delay only occurs when the program is 5.1 audio.

I seem to be having a sort of audio delay problem. If I pause or skip back or forward it seems like it takes about 2 seconds for the audio to start. It only appears to happen with dolby digital and not PCM. I'm using HDMI. I wonder if the new 5.1 via HDMI screwed it up?

Is this an analog or digital signal? I don't think the 622 handles analog.

I didn't have any problems getting mine replaced last week.

I doubt they ever will. Same movies, the source material will probably always be better comming straight from the HD disc. Also, it has a lot less distance to travel to the processor. I think you're stressing a little. The dishHD is really good. If you use an antenna (OTA) with the reciever...

HD discs are better then dish. But, not way way better.

I have both Dish HD and an HD DVD player. The HD DVD picture is better then DishHD. OTA is better then most DishHD. Don't get me wrong the picutre is good on DishHD. It really depends on the source.
