    That's the only reason I have HD equipment. My locals was at one time on the 72.5 bird. Now they are on the 99 bird as far as I know.

    Thanks Jimbo. I found a 18" dish at the local dump. Still had the LNB on it. Tested it on an old receiver that my parents have. The receiver has to be 15 years old. Worked just fine.

    The D* page on Facebook is on fire. I guess the scare tactics that AMC is showing is working on people. I really wished people would get the other side of the story before they blast D*. I did see one person on there that knew the facts and AMC's history with contract negotiations.

    Not sure if this is how everyone else thinks. Myself, I'd love to see the 2 satellite companies and cable companies to come together and draw a line in the sand on all this corporate greed. Tell THEM what they will pay them and if they don't accept it oh well.

    I had E* when they had their spat with AMC. If I remember correctly only 2 or 3 episodes were not shown before their new contract was finalized.

    Can you still use an 18" dish to pick up the 101w bird? I have a D12 that I was going to tailgate with next month when the TN Vols started playing great SEC teams. Without having to use Mpeg-4 receivers.
