My distance was too complicated too. I set up a wireless bridge with an old G speed linksys that I had laying around and it works great with HD. Plus I have my BluRay hooked to it also.

Make sure to get Outdoor/Direct Burial (gel filled) cable. Certainly if you are going under your driveway...wouldn't wanna do that again in 3-4 months...good luck

I understand that multiple DVR's can be networked together to utilize MRV. But can you network an H20(non-DVR) and a HR20(DVR) to view the HR20's recorded content on the H20? I believe the answer is no... Thanks! Ace

I have it too! Called D* and have the protection plan, they wouldn't send me a replacement (I called from work) without being in front of the unit and reformatting the harddrive....still have the probs on recorded shows only. When I hook up an external HDD and record to it, all is fine... Told...

Didn't D* partner with a TV manufacturer and sell a TV with a card slot on the side at Best Buy maybe? Maybe this was before HD (right around when the flat panels & widescreens started really selling).
