LOL - I thought you were referring to his impeachment. You're going all the way back to the Kennedy/Nixon debate. Kennedy looked better on TV and knew how to use it for sure. That and his assassination changed TV news forever.

When Nixon was sweating there was no social media, no streaming, and only a few national channels. When they showed those hearings those few channels had a monopoly, so we were forced to watch it if our TV's were on.

The 'Big 3' would be covering the hearings *if* the ratings were there. Last week's numbers were dismal. This is what they do when folks are not interested in watching.

None of the playoffs were on OTA - very different situation in terms of control of those broadcasts.

It's your local FOX affiliates - they don't want to lose their local revenue by giving up 4k viewers to another source for the games. The playoffs were on cable channels (not OTA) - FOX was much more in control for those games.

I'm not sure I would beleive what that CSR told you. Also - I find it ironic that you would cancel your satellite TV subscription because your OTA doesn't work. :glasses

I absolutely would - even on the FS1 broadcasts. I'll admit HD looks great on my TV as well, but 4k HDR is stunning.

I disagree with the notion D* 4k doesn't work very well. While some have issues, most do not. For me, the 4k picture is stunning on live sporting events. HR54, C61K, HR24 here - 65" LG OLED at the proper height about 8' away from my couch.

Unnecessary - the Genie will format the drive when it starts up.

Save some bucks and go with a new drive. It will rejuvenate your Genie to like new.

Please tell us, it may help others with the same issue.
