I will admit, that in all my years with any TV service I have had, I cannot remember a time that I purposly tuned in to any radio music channels. But i am sure i am not in the majority.

The installer gave me a paper on it when he was leaving, and i did it all online.

I noticed it too on my HR21. I have not figured out a way to turn them off though. I think they suck!!:mad:

Well i was on the CE relase before last, i reverted back to the national release last weekend so i will see how it goes. Since it is only 1 show it does it on, i will try to reset up my series recording.

I am having this same issue, but only when i record Boston Legal. When i try to watch the recording i just get a gray screen. I have not had time to call and troubleshoot with D*

My install was delayed as well when i switched from E* in March. When i finally got installed it was definately worth the wait. Hang in there, you will not be disappointed.:up

DFW have both CW and MYTV in HD. Not much HD content on them though.

I had my HR21-100 freeze up Saturday night as well. I bet it was the new software then.

My HR21-100 did the same thing on Saturday night. Reboot fixed it. Mine has plenty of rood around it.

No issues here in TX.

Talk to your installer, i helped my installer do the install and he ran a custom wall fish for free. I did end up tipping him for his willingness to work with me. I found out it never hurts to negotiate!

I totally agree as well. I just switched 3-29-08, the local hd newscasts look awesome, and alot better than they did with E*.

To me the picture quality on D* seems to have a sharper image, the picture on my 622 always seemed alittle flat and hazy (could have been a sub par install, but looked alot better that TWC). The Black HDDVR with D* looks alot better cosmetically. Now to the guide and interface. the guide is...

I went from dish to directv today. The installer used the existing cable and ran the 2nd drop for the dvr for free. I did tip him well. He did a great job. Just talk to the installer, they are very flexible.:up

I am not sure how the E* installer did it , but the 622 uses 2 coax inputs as well for the tv1 and tv2 to work properly. I guess i will find out Saturday.
