The over current messages means it is picking up a short somewhere. It is in the wire, the lnb or in the connector part of the meter. Hopefully it is in the wire and you are not seeing it. You said that you already swapped the lnb so that would only leave the meter.

It is usually a bad piece of wire when mine does that, probally shorted at a connector or a nicked piece of coax.

No I would not walk away. Just commenting on the silly 125 mph deal. But down here on the gulf coast hurricanes are a yearly event. So when you install a dish down here you need to consider high winds because you can count on at least two huricanes every year.

I agree with mcbeevee. I have aquired several HDMI cables over the years and have only seen a difference in one of them no matter what the cost is. I think that one cable must have an internal defect.

guffy1, I agree there is no comparision Dish PQ is far superior to Directv. As far as hardware I have always thought that Directv's equipment was superior, more user friendly and much faster but this 622 is on par or better than any Directv equipment that I have ever seen.

Read all of his posts in all of his different threads and you will see the problem changes and grows. Normally an installer would only put up a single dish at an install but these guys have went all out and still he is not satified.

Will this work: 1 dish pointing at 101 with a standard lnb 1 dish pointing at 119 with a standard lnb 2 lines from each going into a 4x8 with the 101 lines going into the first two spots on the switch and the 2 from the 119 go into the last two spots.

you need to have all 4 ports on the lnb hooked up to the switch.
