5G does have a so called standard plan but the 3 are going low,mid,high . It’s going to take several years to get it on the same plan . Probably years before Dish can even think about profit. So back to the original tread Dish can’t afford more debt the only one that might survive is orby. :)...

Fios tv isn’t going anywhere . They were making new boxes that streamed it over the internet but put them on hold . Maybe they will buy dish grab all of the spectrum and really make a run against Directv with sling .

The problem with OTT . Do customers actually think it’s going to stay low priced forever. The big players are like drug dealers the first hit is free . I can remember when cable came to town my uncle said that people are going to pay for free Tv . He said when that happens it’s all over.

I had some fiber in my yard left over from a install and you can bed it almost all the way over before it breaks. My install has some nice bends in it and for 11 years no problem.

I Have Fios and looked at the channel lineup with all streaming services . I think I will be staying with dish and Verizon .

Fios is 79.99 for 2 dvr and 4 boxes.

I have dish and fios so it's the best of both worlds.
