The swm16's have been out for a while & will share mrv across both swm8 ports.

It will be a leased receiver & probably require a contract. The retail price for an existing customer is $99. I am sure solid signal's price is an error or they just like loosing $50 on each c31.

All remotes & cables are no longer in the receiver box, they are packed separately. Instruction manuals have also been removed as part of directv going "green" . Manuals are available online or can be orderd thru customer service.

There is a Swm 32 switch which should pass MRV.

So you have to keep the protection plan for a year @ $5.99 mo. Or around $72 yr. Paying $49.99 for the service call seems a better deal unless you plan on having more issues.

Did anyone think that Directv was not going to raise their prices? The programmers increase everyones prices. This happened the last few years. First DISH announces the DTV follows a month or so later.

Did you think that DISH & Cable would be the only ones raising prices? The programmers give everyone an increase. This has happened the last few rate increases. DISH goes first then a month or so later DIRECTV announces.

I am a Retailer & don't post much on this board, just read what others say. Just giving a heads up.
