I have Vue and I signed up for DNOW for the Apple TV, MLB Channel, and the Hallmark Channels. I have kept Vue and I have a decision to make. I like the DVR and almost as important, the ability to use the apps for those channels. If Vue had those two channels, it is no contest IMO.

That is the way I am leaning because of no DVR service. I might go one more month. Service has improved quite a bit for me.

I think for many of us the three month original sign up period is approaching and I am curious. How many plan to keep the service or will you drop the service and continue with another?

My DirecTV Now froze up several times during the UK-KU game. Used it a little yesterday, and still had some issues. At this point, I can't see me sticking with them past the three months I already paid for.

DNow is still freezing on me but not as often it would seem.

That is my thinking too.

NOW last night was very stable. I only had one or two freezes while watching from 4-9 or so. Much improved.

I had lots of freezes last night and I finally went back to Vue. I have a Harmony 650 that takes care of that issue of the Apple remote.

I've tired it several times. Actually took the steps HBO recommended even to the point of re-setting my ATV. However, on Apple TV, I always get the message, incorrect validation code. Again, no problem with the ROKU.

I had freeze issues all weekend but it was mostly at night it seems.It happened on several different channels. Still can't sign onto my Apple TV for HBO GO, even though I had no problem on the Roku.

Anyone else have issues activating a device, specifically the Apple TV with HBO GO?

One thing I use is PlayOn. So far, and I really just started working with it, it will record the shows from on line (they're usually free within 24-48 hours after they first air). I'm still having some issues with Food Network but it has recorded the new season of Big Bang Theory and Designated...

I love this competition. If HULU (see link below) and Apple TV also launch streaming options, this should keep prices down and give consumers plenty of good choices. The next fight will be for DATA caps and Internet pricing/speeds IMO...
