I recently went back to directv after being gone for over 3 years the main receiver they gave me for the living room is the genie Gen 3, is this a 4k receiver?

I have the Genie Gen 3. Wonder when I will receive this update? I forced a software download the other day but wasn’t the newest one (just got directv reinstalled Sunday after about a 2 1/2 year hiatus from them.

The I don't know my code feature doesn't work, and also not sure how to manually program the remote for just an audio device using a code.

Im trying to program the new genie remote to control the volume on my Samsung - 2.1-Channel Soundbar model number HWF450, the only problem is that the model number is not listed in the directv settings, Im just trying to program the remote to control volume and mute is all. Any advice?

Just had the genie installed today and was wondering if there was a way to bring the mini guide up? I know on the old remotes you just pressed the blue button.

Im pretty sure, it goes based on what you have in your recordings as far as that goes, it suggests smiler titles to you. I was kinda wondering the same thing.
