Mini guide?

Just had the genie installed today and was wondering if there was a way to bring the mini guide up? I know on the old remotes you just pressed the blue button.

You must have gotten an HR44, since the HR34 uses the standard white remote and the HR44 uses the newer RC71. I'm guessing it doesn't have a blue button, yes?

That is correct I have the HR44 (the newest) with rc remote.

According to this, you press the enter button while watching a program to get the mini guide.

On the HR34 it works that way too (enter button)

learned that when the HR34 has its PMS....its "pretty moronically slow" mood

Nope, it's the red colored button for score center and delete recordings

Oh, they still have THAT button ...

They have a red button for scoreguide in the lower left of the D-pad.

Its a real shame they had to go and change remotes for the 44, I like the old one and use RF all the time.

The new one looks like a genaric one that they came up with.

If I got to learn a all new remote and change to IR, I will probably invest in a UR remote.
