When I had AT&T dsl, I had 3Mbps service. Now when I check for availability, I can only get Uverse at 768K.

I'm just looking for a cheap tablet. I don't mind hacking a device if I have to, which I was planning to do to the Touchpad. Maybe the Kindle Fire would be better?

Thanks, but it is the ac adapter. The cord that has the male connector is coming out of the brick. If I jimmy around with that end it would work, then it stopped working altogether a few days ago.

I need a new ac adapter for my HP laptop and was wondering if a cheap third party one is just as good as the HP one?

My understanding is that after you set up all your devices to use Find my Friends, you'll only need to log into your account to check on every device, which would make it easier in the long run than Find my iPhone.

Isn't that what the Find my Friends app is for? I believe you can only use iCloud while on wifi.

AT&T has a service called Family Map that should do what you want.
