    DVI Switch Recommendation?

    I use the Gefen 2x1 with my Sammy DLP ... works great. The 2x1 is annoying in that the "out" DVI line is in front near the IR receiver. Other than that, I have no complaints.

    I got four new PBS affiliates ... my box is still nuts though. It's locking up every 15 minutes or so (after having zero lock-ups since mid-December). Crap.

    VOOM Widows

    I got the "I hate this zoom" on the phone tonight as my wife called me at work to see why the sound wasn't on (Volume knob is the big one on the heavy dark box with bright lights sweetie). After my inspired fix (turn knob clockwise), "zoom" was not so bad ... ugh.

    My Voom receiver is nuts this morning. Had to "soft" reset it twice and then it just reset itself minutes ago. That's new to me ... think we may be getting a code push ?

    TWC releases HD DVR

    Actually, if you look at the Voom site under "compare" ... it says that the 39 HD channels will be as of 2/2/04. I hope this doesn't mean they all will appear on the 1st.

    Terk TV55 vs. the Stealth 3010

    My only concern is that I have a home owners association that makes the gestapo seem soft. Antennas and dishes cannot be visible from the front of the house. This won't be a problem with the voom dish but I'm worried about the OTA antenna.

    My neighbor uses the Terk and gets our local channels without a hitch. I especially like the Terk's low profile, but if the Stealth is better, then I could care less about aesthetics. Anyone have recommendations? Thanks.

    I've noticed many posts lamenting that Sears is the sole retail carrier for Voom and if memory serves ... their contract runs out soon (maybe the new year). As I happen to be an employee of Best Buy, I was dismayed that Sears somehow managed to land such a cutting edge digital subscription...
