That is exactly what is going to happen. ALL HD locals on 118.75w will be moved to 129w! For the few people in those markets who have D500+ instead of Dish1000+ they will get a free upgrade, but this means that people who live in these markets no longer need a + dish unless they want...

Ya, the card swap isn't anything new. I would say this is more of an indication of Dish now being in a position to turn off the Nagra 2 encryption. Probably also has something to do with consolidated internationals now on 118.75w.

Uplinks can be turned on 5 seconds from now, or they may just be uplinked for engineering purposes and never available to the public. One only has to look at how many time YES was uplinked, only to be taken down again over the years. There really isn't a timeframe that we know. The one thing...

No, it just means the channel moved transponders on Spotbeam 22... it has nothing to do with the channel going live... there are many channels that get uplinked for testing purposes and are never turned on for a variety a reasons... look at posts in regards to the YES network for more detail...

5, 7, 9, 10 or 12 being spotbeams specifically for Alaska... we don't know about 17-32 since they are for ConUS...

Digi, will 'The List' have the links embeded as well when it says what beam they are on? Nelson, do you have a link or list of all of the different beams as they stand right now that can be viewed online? A master central place where I can look at all of the different contours would be sweet...
