Well, I had a Jimmy Dean sausage patty with my breakfast this morning and it resembled a quarter pound hamburger patty. Mainly because it was, indeed, a quarter pound. :)

Preparing carne adovada as I type. It hits the oven in 1 hour! :)

I'll be doing similar. Buttermilk biscuits, 2 they are small, with sausage gravy, lot's of sausage in this gravy, and 2 eggs sunny side up...

With this discussion of chile colorado, I have a question. It seems to me that chile colorado (capital c is not necessary because we are talking about a color not a State) and carne adovada are first cousins. Colorado is made with beef and adovada is made with pork. Both are stewed with a red...
