You should also remember that the .2 Network (produced by GTN) will debut this summer as a digital multicast stream on various stations across the country. So you might eventually be able to get .2 using an antenna, from a local affiliate.

FWIW, if the included XM is important to you, and it's what you want - then that does change the terms of the deal. It's your money, and you should get what you want. Myself, I already have XM and Sirius, so whether or not they come with a TV subscription is not that important.
