Good first season! My only criticism (without spoilers) is that way too much was packed into a single season. It’s hard to follow the plot and all the characters at such a high pace. I think this should’ve been split into two seasons, but probably the budget didn’t allow for that.

Howard did surprisingly well! Better than any other judge on the show. When he first announced his participation in AGT, I honestly didn't think he would last more than a month. I thought he would cause some major scandal and will get himself thrown out. I was so wrong!

Partially it was the fault of the acts themselves: most of them blew it last night. They had much better performances before.

What a disappointing Finale! There were actually much better acts throughout the season.

The first night's viewership means nothing really, since most people tuned in just out of curiosity. However, the first 2-3 weeks will either make it or break it.

I was hoping for something more original, but Seth went with a very traditional format, which I think was a mistake. Again, I don't want to judge him too soon. I'll give him some time to come up to speed. But he better come up with something funny and original very soon, or he won't last there...

Out of all talent competitions this is probably the worst one in the way it is structured and the way it is judged. The pairing of the acts doesn't make much sense, the judges are completely incompetent in most of these art forms and Piers with his buzzer is just plain annoying. Having said...
