I really enjoyed Children of the Earth, but hands down one of the most disturbing TV series I've seen in awhile. Davies is notorious for pushing the limits (i.e. the sex scenes this week.) A bit of a previous season spoiler, but speaking of pushing the limits... I can't remember his name but...

Well it's an easy way to kill off the human race. Let them live for awhile, germs go crazy, then immediately stop "the miracle". The super bugs would wipe out a sizable population in no time, and the invaders come in and wipe out the remaining people with not much effort. -Mike

It sounds like I had a similar experience with a lot of you :) Watched the first half, wasn't too into it and rough to follow, then we actually stopped it in the middle (my wife had given up.) We also thought some of the acting was pretty awful, which was one of the reasons my wife gave up on...

I can't believe the season is over, it flew by so fast. Overall not bad... I like how for the most part kept to the original seasons pretty closely versus Family Guy that tweaked things when it came back. Looking forward to next season :) -Mike

I also enjoyed the episodes. First one was better IMHO, but second one wasn't bad. They so far seem to be keeping to the spirit of the original run. Unlike when Family Guy came back and they changed Stewie's character :( -Mike
