I had one neighbor ask me if I had the dishes, so that I could "work from home". And some random stranger walking by one day asked me if I could use another satellite dish, I said sure.... then I realized he was mocking my dish farm. :o

As a kid we used to go vacationing in Northern Wisconsin and would go snorkeling in the lakes up there. I used to try and catch crayfish by hand.

Here's some pictures of a 3 meter KTI dish I finally had time to install. I picked up a few years back and it's been in storage until earlier this year.

Ok, It looks like it only happens if I leave my USB thumb drive is connected. Not such a big deal, but perhaps a bummer if I want to record. Can anyone else confirm this oddity with a USB drive connected?

I'm currently running the 7-31-11 release. I noticed that some channels on C-Band 103W - AMC 1 will lock up after a minute or two for me. Can anyone else confirm this? Is it the firmware or just me? I noticed it on Qubo.

I have successfully blind scanned an SR of 1000 with my Traxis 3500.

we have a couple firmwares listed in the files section Openbox 9/27/2010 firmware - Downloads - SatelliteGuys.US is the one I prefer right now There is also the one that fixes the green tint on composite out, but it slows the blind scan down and it still wouldn't scan in Telemundo on 79W...

I was having trouble getting 11900 H 2170 on 79W even when entering it manually. It worked with my AZbox flawlessly though. I might try changing the firmware and see if works better. Thanks

I'm having issues scanning in 11900 H 2170 on 79W with my Openbox S9. Is this normal? I can get it on other receivers I have. I think I remember reading the Openbox has issues with low SR, but I thought that was only during blind scanning. Does it just have issues in general tuning low SRs...

You might try pressing the Vformat button a few times on the remote. I think by default it ships in PAL mode.

Ok, I just bought an openbox s9. I am using the composite out right now. When I turn on the openbox s9, the color starts out dark and then gets brighter, also the colors are wshed out at first and then go to normal. It's like the "tubes" are warming up on an old tv. Anyone else experience this?

Does the software limit store in the motor or is it just on the receiver? Thanks for the feedback
