I am going to have to try this! Does this trick have anything to do with the fact the channels are S2? I just figured I had to have my 6 footer adjusted just right for S2 channels, never thought to play with frequency. Going to have to remember this trick for future reference!

I am ready to try out this infamous 7-31 version, but am curious which one is the right one. From the website referenced in the first post, I see 2 which sound like they may be the one spoken of: SkyBox_S9_110731 S9S10_AmerciaVer.rar Which one is it? I want to make sure I grab the right one.

Any idea if this firmware version has the green tint fix also? That version is what slowed down the scan, so I am hopeful this version has both the faster scan and the green tint fix.

Another option would be to get an "RGB SCART to composite RCA adapter". They can be found on ebay for under $2. There are 2 SCART connections on the S9, and I am thinking both could be used. I haven't had time to get mine all set up yet, but plan to try this out. I did verify it works, but I...
