    GeosatPro 36 w/STAB HH120?

Is anyone running a GeosatPro 36 (aka GeosatPro 90)with a STAB HH120 motor? If so, does it mount right on the motor shaft without modifications? Are there any 1-meter dishes that will mount to that motor without modifications? I'm running a Patriot elliptical E0851w02 and looking for an...

    97 west -G19

It may have been the weather. All the channels are back execpt for Jasmine My grandson's favorite channel). I was wondering if my dish needed to be adjusted but after I tried it ended up where I started. When things were 'not right' I could get many channels on 97W, some of the channels I...

    USPS 2-Day Priority Mail isn't

2-day Priority Mail must not mean delivery in two or three days but delivery 'no sooner than'! With one exception every 2-day priority mail package in the last 6 months has taken between 5 days and two weeks. The closer the shipment point is to my home the longer it takes. The worst part about...

    How find a specific channel?

I know how to blind scan and then sort through the channels one at a time looking for specific channel but is there a better way to do it? For example, I can see that RETRO is (or at least was) on both 87 and 97 West. See attached. Can I use this info to go right to the channel? Does it...

2-day Priorty mail is not a funny joke

LOL....and it's not far from the truth. It's now in California. I called FEDEX and by the accent I'd say he was several time zones away. He couldn't explain or do anything except to tell me to call back tomorrow between 0800 and 1500 CST. What I got out of the conversation was that this happens...

    97 west -G19

After going through all the channels that my STB had for for 97W I noticed that what I'll call the lower end had no signal whereas the upper channels did so I re-scanned. Several of the channels I've watched in the past are still listed after the rescan but 'no signal'; many are still there too...

    97 west -G19

I was scanning through the satellites I receive signals from and making a list so I'd know where things are that I might to watch and all of a sudden the lights are out on G-19? I can get the JBS on 99 and the Chinese stations on 95 but nothing at all on 97? About 6:45 PM Eastern time. Is this...

2-day Priorty mail is not a funny joke

Another story but now its walmart.com and the FEDEX/USPS partnership. I ordered something two weeks ago from walmart.com. After 10 days I finally received shipping status that the package (3 pounds) was leaving Hagerstown, Maryland for central Pennsylvania. Keep in mind that PA and MD share a...

Need New LNB, which is the best

A tangential question. I have a 90CM dish with a LNB. Would a LNBF be better or are the terms interchangeable b/c they both have feedhorns? Yes another amateur here.

I remember being deployed to Italy 20 years ago and not only finding Bonanza in Italian interesting but the game shows as well. I have no clue what was being said however it got real interesting ... I enjoyed the Rome airport for a similar reason.

    Installing a motor

In any case I've doubled the number of satellites we receive. We get two now :biggrin. I couldn't find 72W so I went back and found 97W, tweaked it, and then went back to 72W and it was there!!! What's the best way to permanently mark everything so if the wind moves something I can put it back...

Dish elevation for mounting a motor clarification

Section 5 of the HH120 installation manual has a formula to set the dish elevation as follows: Degrees of dish elevation = P - (60-latitude); and P is the elevation 'given by the manufacturer'. (my manual is different than what I found online) Is P the offset factor of the dish, or is it the...

2-day Priorty mail is not a funny joke

Thanks for all of the replies to this string. In all honesty, once the mail makes it to the local post office we usually have good luck, unless the dingbat is on the route and then we're delivering each other's mail as some of you have already said. Thanks Iceberg for bringing up "...when...

2-day Priorty mail is not a funny joke

This is posted here for those who might consider ordering equipment online that is delivered by the US Postal Service. On August 28 I ordered a STAB motor from an online dealer that I'd seen mentioned on line. By their online delivery map I am in the 3-day delivery zone so I should have had the...

    through the wall connector?

I already have 3 RG cable holes through my wall, they'll be four if I install a dish motor. Is there any type of "through the wall" block I can buy to eliminate drilling more holes? Thanks,

    Installing a motor

I understand the HH120 is slower however my dish has a tab on the top of the mounting bracket so it doesn't slide down the mast. Makes it easy for one person to handle. On that point alone I think the choice for me is the 120. Thoughts?
