GEOSATpro Never seen this before - MicroHD

If I go the default channel list route, will I have to find all my sats again on my motor?

GEOSATpro Never seen this before - MicroHD

I created a new satellite called Gal17. That did it. It's at the very end of my satellite list which is a bummer, but at least I can blindscan 91 again.

GEOSATpro Never seen this before - MicroHD

I don't have a hard drive connected to the Micro. I only have a USB thumb drive connected to reload my channels and even that wasn't plugged in when the problem began. I'll create another G17 and go from there. Thanks

GEOSATpro Never seen this before - MicroHD

I've deleted most of my G19 channels because I don't watch them. I still get the error message. Also, I can blindscan other sats and it logs the channels just fine. It's only on G17 for some reason. I've done a factory reset and reloaded from a USB thumb drive. Still getting the error.

GEOSATpro Never seen this before - MicroHD

I get a "Error: No Space Available" box when I try a blindscan.

GEOSATpro Decode video without needing PID.

I know what you mean, Satguy. The Tiernan I used to use in a TV master control setting required no scan. You just enter the freq and SR and the picture popped in after about a second.

    GEOSATpro NBC Stutter Gone?

I used to experience stuttering on NBC Mountain on 103. For a few weeks, the picture has been fine. My quality hasn't changed, not that that should play any part of what i was seeing. Has anyone else experienced an improvement with regard to the stuttering that had been occurring?

    GEOSATpro Request: Updated microHD Graphics

Is it 576 (and not 480) because the chip is from a country that uses PAL?

GEOSATpro Huntington Beach feeds, video aspect ratio issue?

There must be something wrong with my setup because I cannot scan in any channels on the Quali-tv.

GEOSATpro Huntington Beach feeds, video aspect ratio issue?

I'll have to check this out with my Quali-tv tonight.

The good and bad to this unit

In the past, my motor seemed to be having a lot of problems. It would drive the dish all the way to my east/west limits and it always forgot where certain sats were and would send the dish to my true south sat instead. I had to reprogram where SES-2 is about every other day. I was sure the motor...

GEOSATpro Can the microHD do 5.1 audio?

I have heard Descriptive Audio during an episode of Law & Order.

That's very interesting! I look forward to hearing what they say.

Turn my micro on any time!!!

Thanks, Wallyhts, for sharing this! I've never played with Slingbox. I really like it! It would be cool to set up a C-band dish at my parents' house across town and watch from my place.

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

I wonder how the Geosatpro PLL will handle this.

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

Nice cooling products! So getting back to PixL's original post, is there anyone watching these feeds on a Micro who are not experiencing any freezing? I think we can safely assume it's a signal problem.

GEOSATpro Can the microHD do 5.1 audio?

Maybe the audio shows up differently on their Tandbergs/Ericssons than on our receivers. They probably use ASI to go from their receiver to some external audio processing.

GEOSATpro Can the microHD do 5.1 audio?

I remember when NBC SD existed on AMC1. All their video was squished from top to bottom. What would that have been for? You'd probably have to talk to a pretty high-ranking engineer before you get an explanation for the discrete audio channels. Maybe someone with C-band capabilities can share...

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

There have been some standups for the news over here. Plus, NBC O&Os and Gannett have services for their stations' use. There's a service called HD Beauty that, when I looked at it on Thursday night, had a shot of the Thames. It stinks I can only receive these during the cool night. Maybe I...

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

I'm in MN using a 1.2m correctly skewed. It might be worth tinkering with in the evening when the LNB has less to fight against. Like I said, I can pick it up at night.

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

When I wasn't getting any stutter last night, my signal quality was 72%. Now, it's between 65% and 70% and the slate on HD5 is barely coming through. I hear tone trying to break through. I did notice the FEC is 8/9!

    Olympics Feed Freezing The Micro

These are up as of 12:38a CDT. No stutter here. Watching the sun rise over the city and the Thames on the Beauty feed.

Is the microHD, Invacom SNH-031 Friendly?

My reception isn't spotty. BUT, I did find that my signal quality readings with the MicroHD are about 20-25 points lower than when I'm watching on my Geosatpro DSR-200 receiver.

Is the microHD, Invacom SNH-031 Friendly?

I use an SNH-031 with my MicroHD that I have on a dedicated dish. I set it to 10600 and 22k ON.
