    BEV missing channels

As even channels are using the highest voltage (18v) it is possible that something has increased the resistance on the cable. That is normally a splitter or could be water ingress. As you only state Nimiq 82 evens, it could also be a switch, LNBF problem.

Dish Network dish - Bell TV service?

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure that there is a switch installed within the LNBF and is an integral part of it, so it cannot be removed. Each Coax should see 3 orbital slots. I guess there is nothing to loose trying to aim it but with this set up I am not sure that the Bell Receivers...

Dish Network dish - Bell TV service?

If there is a large one and a smaller one then it would appear you have a system set for 3 orbital slots. The smaller LNBF could be disconnected.

Dish Network dish - Bell TV service?

Your Dish, LNBF and Switch's (if installed) should all work with Bell Services, unless it is wired for a Hopper System. So if you could give us a clue as to what is existing we can almost certainly clarify things for you. You will, of course, need to re-aim the Dish/LNBF's to 91 & 82 degrees...

50 Channel Analog Head End Freezing Issues Bell 6400

Are these G1 or G2 6400's? You are aware of many capacitor issues with these models I assume.?

Need much more info. What hardware do you have, how many LNBF's, switch type, where are you located?

    TSN3 HD

Cool, that's good to know. It never used to be on 82.

    TSN3 HD

What is the LNBF ? It will have to be a DP Dual, to feed the DPP44. If it is a legacy, that is your problem. There is no problem feeding signals (82) from a DP Dual LNBF into just 1 port of a DPP44 Switch, the DPP Seperator will also be fine. Do NOT use a splitter, you have all you need with...

    Bell TV Dish in Chicago

In your first post you say you have an 18" Dish with a DPP Quad LNBF. The 18" Dish was only made for single Sat reception, so if it is indeed an 18" Dish, you will struggle to get good signals. The correct Dish for 2 Sat reception is the 20" (51cm) one, which is the same as the Dish 500. Try...

Random loss of signal - need help trouble shooting

If 75% is "good for your position", I would be looking into separate bigger dish's.

Random loss of signal - need help trouble shooting

It is NOT normal on 91 to have TP's at 0%. 75% is low. This time of year I have found wasps or ladybugs, inside LNBF's, causing intermittent problems. You just never know. Crimped connectors are never a good thing with Sat Signals due to the high frequencies used, I would certainly swap them...

Random loss of signal - need help trouble shooting

#1 Trees move #2 good #3 Then you have the ONLY 3100 to do that as most TP's are MPEG4 which the 3100 cannot decode. #4 Cool #5 Oh, you also do not have a working 6100 on Bell TV, they were discontinued and now only work for OTA reception.

Random loss of signal - need help trouble shooting

The 3100 showing TP16 only is normal, it cannot see the other TP's. The Power Inserter connection is notorious for failure to stay connected, check that again, ensuring that it goes in and you turn it Clockwise to lock it in position. Also, just because you have no rain or bad weather in your...

Bell Expressvu Blocking out Network Shows

What channel number are you trying to record? AFAIK, Bell do not blackout anything other than AMC in HD, where AMC do not have the rights to broadcast that particular Movie in HD, it will still air in SD on the lower channels though.

I guess you could always 'skew' the mast... ie: not have it vertical, that should work.

    TSN3 HD

Pretty sure you do not have a working 6100... lol These all died some time ago. I assisted with someone in a similar situation but they had no problems with a pair of larger dish's (they needed them too). We used a 75cm Channel Master Offset Dish with a DP Dual LNBF for 91, then a 1m Channel...

Is it possible that I am picking up Nimiq 1 and not 4 with my 6 foot dish?

I swung my 1.2m Off-set to 91 and see nothing other than Nimiq 6. No active transponders are reported on Nimiq 1 at all.

Is it possible that I am picking up Nimiq 1 and not 4 with my 6 foot dish?

No, only Nimiq 6 is broadcasting from 91. Nimiq 4 is at 82. Pretty sure that is correct anyway..... Don't forget there is a Galaxy bird at 91 as well but that should not be received with a Circular LNBF.

    Activating Dish in Canada

Try this with Bell TV here in Canada and you will end up with just 1 receiver active. If you do not answer the call, after a specific number of attempts by Bell, they cut off service to all but 1 unit, until you call and give them the Location ID on each unit, all during the same phone call...

Why not contact Stubbs? See if they can upgrade the MDU and invoice Shaw. Note that it might involve more than just an LNBF swap, it could involve different switch's etc.

    Bell TV Minneapolis

Well I would say there is nothing to loose is there. That is quite a step up in size and don't for get the Dish 500 is a compromised Dish looking at 2 birds, while the 33 is made for single sat reception.

    SATLINK 6923 SETUP

Sad to say you get what you pay for with almost all these Chinese meters. At least an Echostar bird, 110 or 119 will be the same TP frequencies as Nimiq 91 & 82, although only TP15 and one other are QPSK on 82 if I recall correctly. 91 is almost all QPSK, I believe. I use and recommend the...
