Dumb question? ATSC is analog right? I remember as a kid we once got channels from Florida. (I lived North of Pittsburgh) If I remember right they lasted for a while. They were not clear but you could watch them. Never thought much about it until I stumbled on these web sites about guys...

How long do these signals last? A while, a few minutes, a few seconds?

I was messing around and found some web sites about these guys who pull in TV signals from FAR FAR away. Anyone here ever mess around with doing that? What kind of equipment did you use? Just wondering. sounds like an interesting hobby.

I will let you know. Maybe this week-end I'll get a chance to go to radio shack and look for one. The area I live in is pretty hilly. So I am sure that is the reason it is all blue and violet.

My attic is not huge and I once tried an outdoor antenna up there but I couldn't get it pointed right and never got anything. About what size would I need? Also, out of curiosity, would a HD antenna also help with analog reception?

What about local low power stations We have a couple of local low power stations where I live. They don't come in on my cable system and the only way I can get them is to pick them up via an antenna. I can't imagine they will have the money to convert. What does the government expect them to do?
