Oh the other thing I miss is the skip forward button on my Dish remotes. The FF is annoying and takes forever, the page UP button skips too far ahead so I have to skip back about 7 times or so. Am I missing another way to skip forward?

Me too. I think the X1's UI and features are fantastic. I thought the voice search would be a waste but I use it all the time. I also subscribed to their Home security system which I also think is great.

Thanks Bruce, I'll see if I can change how I view some of my shows, but it seems whenever I use VOD there are commercials that I can't skip over. I thought they were going to have "Cloud Recording" so you don't even need to have local recordings? Maybe that was another cable company.

Just switched to Comcast from Dish and so far I absolutely love it. The only problem is that the HD fills up pretty quickly. Any way to expand storage?

I'll be going from Dish to Comcast when we move and I have a few questions: Is there an OTA tuner ? Can you combine 2 together so all TV's share the tuners/DVR's? How much more do they charge for the second X-1? Do they charge a fee for each of the client boxes? Can you watch live TV on an iPad...

So if the X1 is sitting in my equipment closet, and I have RG6 run to each TV, is there also a box at each TV to convert the signal to HDMI, or does the cable just connect to the TV's antenna input as you would connect an OTA antenna? And then does each TV location or person have their own set...

We will be moving next year to a development that doesn't allow sat dishes so I will be switching to Comcast. The house is being built so I can have it wired to accommodate whatever is needed for cable. We will have at most 6 TV's one of which is a home theater, with 3 of us living in the home...

I was so excited to hear that they are finally bringing Fios to my house but those 2 points are deal killers for me, especially #4. What good is it if you can't manage it all from the remote TV's (like Dish's DVR's) . And can you only watch recorded shows, not live TV ? And there is nothing more...
