    Is there an easier way to turn on closed captioning on a non-X1 STB? My grandma's TV doesn't recognise captioning from it, and I'd like her to have an easier way (if possible) than having to go through the hidden setup menu.

    Comcast Seattle Help....

    I can't speak for Seattle, but further down I-5 in Eugene, the picture quality is great with the 100+ HD channels.
