Audio keeps changing on Comcast Box. Help!! (1 Viewer)

The audio settings on my grandma's Comcast cable box keeps changing randomly. Every couple weeks it has been changing from English with descriptive video off to Spanish with descriptive video on. Several channels change to Spanish or lose audio. This has been going on for the past couple months. It cannot be the box or the TV, both have been changed. I'm at a loss for an explanation. The remotes don't have an SAP button, and I know she isn't going in to the menu and changing it herself.

Does she ever use another remote control for a different device? I've seen that happen, and perhaps the other remote has a button with a discrete code that also changes the audio on the Comcast box.

One of my controllers turns on the stereo randomly, lol.

I know when I had Comcast, it changed to Spanish. I finally called and they had me push the "D (or C)" button on the remote. Fixed it. I don't remember what kind of remote I had, but I do know it fixed it immediately. Call and ask. I know it's a simple fix. I still don't know how it got switched. Hope this helps!! Andy
