I have a Coolsat 400 Pro that will not power up. It may have damaged flashrom. Is there an easy fix to replace/repair the flashrom if that is the problem?

I just got a Dish 500 from my neighbor. I want to mount it on the side of my house, which is brick. Any pointers on how to properly mount/align the dish? I live in NW Florida. Any pointers will be appreciated.

I'm considering getting a dish installed. I can't decide on D* or E* just yet, but I have a question as to how much coax the installers will put in my house. I would like to hook up 3 TVs. My big screen tv will be easy to get to, but the other 2 would require some attic work to pull new coax...

If I use a 2" pipe would I still be able to mount a D* dish on it? I would want the Phase III dish, I'm sure.

Does anyone have any idea how the cable's version of HDTV compares to satellite? This is from a quality of picture standpoint, not necessarily how many channels are available. :o

:confused: I want to get into the satellite market, but I can't decide on which service. I want a DVR/PVR type receiver, maybe even HD. I'm looking at all options. Any advice is appreciated
