    LNB For KU AOR Dish

The Inverto Black Ultra Quattro is around $52 shipped from Europe...got it from a sat dealer in the UK on eBay. There is a Black Ultra and a Black Premium...2 different LNBF's. The biggest difference in this LNB and the line of cheap PLL's is the Phase Noise. The Black Ultra has Phase Noise...

    LNB For KU AOR Dish

Yea I've got the NJR's, and 2 spares, and 2 spares for the spares...:) This ortho is a piece that isn't seen too often...a true Chaparral orthomode KU prime focus feed, complete with little blue cap. There is (or was) one on eBay a few days ago, and it was the first one I've seen there. I have...

    LNB For KU AOR Dish

The main receiver I use for hunting is a Prof 7301 loaded up with the Crazycat suite of products. Then I have an AZ Ultra and an S10. The S10 is mainly used for audio services on AMC 8. I can pull out an S12 if I need to but I just keep it around in case I need to throw up something quick. Maybe...

    LNB For KU AOR Dish

LNB For KU AOR Dish (Project) I put this in the C band section due to the dish being a prime focus. Over the years I've been playing with different configurations for my KU Atlantic Ocean Region dish. It is an 8 ft Channel Master SMC with left hand drive that can cover 12.5W to around 103W. In...

Easy to install mobile C-band dish

Looks like he is with QVC, as they have an analog signal on AMC 10 and a digital signal on AMC 11. I have a 13.6db signal with a 10 ft Channel Master on their digital signal, which is a reasonable signal. At 5/6 FEC it should be doable with a 2.4 meter. I can't get my 2.4 meter over there but...

    Channel Master orthomode feed

I got an NOS Cal Amp LNB on eBay. When I received it, it had a lot of white corrosion inside the waveguide. I just took a little sandpaper and rags and cleaned it out...works great.

    Another one saved-What is it?

I am now using 3 of the modified Zinwells along with a 3.5 amp medical rated 18 volt power supply. I'm using bias tees to inject power on a couple more. I was using bias tees on everything along with Spaun 5802 multiswitches. The Spauns have to be externally powered, so after seeing Pendragons...

    Another one saved-What is it?

If I wanted to stay with the orthomode feed I would put a set of Cal Amp Pro II's on it (they're getting hard to find), or a set of Norsat 8515's or maybe Dawnco's. Of course you would need a multiswitch and a dual power inserter if you went that route (see below). Also there are LNBF's that...

    Another one saved-What is it?

The feed looks like a stock Channel Master ortho because of the color of the metal...the scalar plate is stock. The LNB's are somewhere around 1983 vintage because of the noise temperature....you will want to change them. I've seen many 8 ft CM perfs but not a 10. I would carefully straighten...
