Don't Trash your dish. Get a HD FTA receiver, the guys around here can give you some direction. You can get HD and who cares about 4DTV which really isn't anymore. Use your 922 or such as a positioner and analog receiver.

Interfering signal most likely TI. Some signal sources have to power down at sunset. Also possibly the signal is just bad, NASA is not what it used to be. If it is clean on your end, as it increasingly appears to be, the problem is not on your end.

Positioner inaccuracy, amplifier section at dish, water intrusion and insects may be initial problems to look for. All of these can cause transient problems. :o

Try sitting on 900. If that does not work call SRL and let them attack the problem. There are numerous avenues that they can use.

Make sure the cable is swept for high frequency. Some are good only for OTA work. Use quad shield like Dish network uses. Good stuff.

Does it have to be that high? The pole may be flexing enough to throw things off. Another thing is bad or inappropriate cable. Check the reciever at the dish if this continues with a known good cable. The run may be too long.

The 920 or 922 get this once in a while and will usually get over the problem by themseves if parked on the X4 sat. :)Go to WalMart or something like that and get a alarm clock with numerical display for less than $20.00. No sub or sat dish required and display of similar size.
