Bees in C1WPLL, can center hole in the cover be filled?

I had the cap fall out of mine last year. I kept wondering why I had no signal until I went outside and saw a wasp flying around the lnb. The nest was as big as the inside of the lnb.

FORTEC STAR 6FT POLAR MOUNT has anyone experience with multicomstore.com

I've have a 6' and 8' Fortec dish both from Sadoun. They are probably 5-6 years old and no problems. The 6' is a stationary dish but I have enough spare parts to motorize if needed. 8' is motorized dish in my avatar. It has a 24" Powertech? actuator on it since day one and still working good...

    Save Our Cband

Well I figure since the Uhf Tv spectrum is slowly being nibbled at, someone needs a new target so they pick c band lol

    Polar mount questions

Jason S from what I'm reading you're getting a decent signal from 83W to 139W....If that's the case you're probably as good as it gets with the dish. I can tell you with my 8 foot dish I get most everything but some weak transponders are iffy. I learned from experience if I'm getting everything...

What is the difference between C1PLL lnb and the lite one?

I recently got the lite version from Brian and no issues with it. It replaced an old Geosat Pro CK-1 that I've had since they came out. I like the PLL lnb and did notice a slight improvement on some of the S2 channels.

    C-Band Worth it?

Look for a good used dish at least 8 foot, a 10 foot one would be better. Receivers are another story as most of them have their own quirks just my opinion. Channels come and go so get used to that.

who still sells a 2.4m petal dish?

Wow maybe the price of used dishes will skyrocket too lol.. The $99 dish sounds good compared to some of those prices.

Getting Back Into Big Dish after 13 Years

Still a lot of feeds up there. As far as lots of good watchable channels... not as much as there was 15 years ago IMO. C band still has some good channels though. I'd look for a good used 10' or 12' dish maybe on Craigslist etc...I don't think there's enough to watch to justify buying a new 10'...

    Cband Dish Modified for WiFi

    Cband Dish Modified for WiFi

Turbo I don't advocate stealing someone else's wi-fi but there's some public wi-fi spots and restaurants, campgrounds etc..some public libraries. Shoot I've seen people in their cars with laptops at the local library hours before they opened lol

    Cband Dish Modified for WiFi

I've been thinking of trying something like this too. My problem is way too many trees in the direction of any wi-fi signal that I might get. I'm still thinking of trying it though. I'm figuring my closest signal might be a mile way though.

    Going C-Band ... Have a question!

I'd still use the smaller dish for KU, I don't think you'll like the results the cband dish will do on KU. OETA is a pain to get in the first place. My old 36" Primestar will get it during the day but not at night in most cases. I've got a 24" actuator on my 8 foot dish and get 58W-139W without...

Looking to buy C Band LNBF Collar Ring

If I remember right the DMX and the Geosat ring have a slightly different hole size for the lnb. I could be wrong but I thought once when I went to swap out my lnb that there was a slight difference. This was a couple of years ago and I'd have to look thru my junk in the garage to find the old...

Could Match sadoun SP240 Polar mount to my stationary Dish 8' WS International?

Here's my two pics hope this helps. The original dish which was 6 ft was an older WSI. I put 8 foot Fortec dish panels on it. I think my dish hardware was WSI and the mount is Sadoun....all an engineered hybird for sure! Looks like you might have to fabricate something for the ring on yours...

Could Match sadoun SP240 Polar mount to my stationary Dish 8' WS International?

Vallenato, I took a 6 foot Fortec dish that wasn't motorized and made it a motorized 8 footer. Yes it can be done. I will post pics shortly.

    Alien HD-8240 vs Micro HD

I agree with Iceberg ..most of us have seen the crappy boxes and owned them too. I realize we live in wallymart world today but you get what you pay for. I'll admit I'm one who will still pay for a quality product with support after the sale
