Testing the new Titanium C138 Performance Plus C Band LNBF

I'm desperate LOL. 5G has struck again and has been pretty much overwhelming my Perf+ Red LNBF for the last 2 weeks. Transponders on 4120MHz and up seem to be much more stable. Anything under is almost unwatchable.

The CW, again - I thought it was moving from 91 W to 93 W but today it was only on 91 W?

It is live again on 91w ITC in 4:2:0. Scans as CW Backup

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I'm not sure. I don't quantitatively know how much the foil is helping to be honest. I'm just throwing ideas against the wall and seeing what sticks.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I don't currently have any test equipment. The sudden interference from Saturday night was over and gone on Sunday. Someone suggested it is possibly testing for the next power up of 5G. I was just a tad fed up and annoyed on Saturday evening. I had a great feed I missed. I'm sure it's inside...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I wish I had good news. I guess power up has happened again in my area. Everything is pretty well gone again, with the Perf Plus C238. It worked about 6 weeks. But I guess I'm out of luck now. Really need a blue model, Brian *wink, wink*

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I scanned 113w tonight and found a lot of channels in the 3800-3900mhz band to work perfectly. Absolutely no errors. But 3900 is pretty well completely gone. 3980 is watchable for some short periods but error correction eventually loses the battle. I thought it is interesting, but the channels...

Troubleshooting AFN Broadcast Reception on 4.5 Meter Dish

I use this calculator to figure out where the LNB needs to be. Focal distance is measured from the center of the dish to 1/4" inside the feedhorn opening. Prime Focus Satellite Antenna reflector calculation

    Anik F1R is still Alive

I checked earlier today, and I did not find this channel. So don't be surprised if it is not there.

I used regular foil and then some spare reflectix bubble wrap.

    Budget C-band LNB Recommendation

I wouldn't buy anything without 5G filtering. It'll eventually catch up with you.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

The Performance Plus LNBF is still working well for everything 4.0ghz and up. I'm just bummed that I am having issues with the FTA Weather Channel on 127w. But I did try something that does help a little. Much less errors with my Faraday LNB Cover.

    Anik F1R is still Alive

There is now a Canadian Parliament channel up on 107.3w C band. VSE 1. And there has been a Cruisesat mux active for months.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I haven't been able to find any nearby source of interference. This just started when Verizon announced they were going "full power" on 5G, whatever that actually means. The new LNBF had it whipped just until the last week. Have I mentioned that I HATE 5G?? My closest cell tower is 2 miles...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

Now I have noticed signals under 4.0ghz are being wiped out, even with the performance plus model. The FTA Weather Channel on 3980H at 127w is now unwatchable. I'll do more surfing the arc to see, but this seems a bit early for 5G to take over this bandwidth, no? I was expecting until winter to...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I am sorry I never shared an update. I installed a performance plus C238 and have been satisfied with the results. It has been able to eliminate all interference until I noticed an issue with 2 transponders using 3940MHz. Both are scrambled, so it is not a problem but I found it odd that they...

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I'm about ready for a Blue version. Nothing I watch now is under 4GHz except for the FTA Weather Channel on 127w. I'd still be willing to take a chance on your free one listed on the classified page. Just to trial and error things a bit. I don't have a TinySA that covers above the 900mhz band.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

That is what I started wondering about after discovering the "performance plus" thread. The issue is that the interference is likely coming at the dish nearly head on when I am facing the western side of the arc. I need to verify the source, but I know this tower is 5G active. If it's from a 5G...

12 foot Paraclipse Copy from about 1985

I found this knock off Paraclipse dish while working. If it wasn't 4 hours from home, I'd ask about it.

    5G Interference on all Transponders

I believe the 5G interference has finally caught up with me. Since 5G started, I have only had issues with 3.7GHz feeds. Oddly, I could even lock a 3.425GHZ channel on 115w without any interference. But just yesterday I found out I cannot watch anything on 113w-135w without severe interference...

Testing the new Titanium C138 Performance Plus C Band LNBF

Glad I found this thread. 5G has finally caught up with me. Just yesterday I discovered everything from 97w and on westward is compromised by interference. 97-105w is watchable but still having annoying dropouts about every 30-40 seconds. Everything at 113w and west is unwatchable. I barely get...

    Found a C band dish.Now what?

Depending on your location, there may still be some channels receivable with a smaller dish on C band but from what I've read, not too many. Not saying that you should scrap it. You could set it up for Ku band or even L band to receive NOAA satellite imagery.

    Found a C band dish.Now what?

It's up to you. But after the final 5G repack, anything under 10-12ft may not work with C Band.
