I think it was a coax / moisture problem. It has mysteriously fixed itself before I could get out and test a new run of coax. If it happens again. I am going to check that first.

My clock went back an hour for about a month, just recently I'd say about a week ago it corrected itself. Not sure why. Rehitting it didn't seem to help. And I'm always on X4 with my fixed dish setup, for what it's worth.

How do you hook audio out on Commercial DC2 receivers to your tv? Can you just strip an rca audio cable down to the wires and connect it to the screws? I don't really know what it's called. Hopefully someone knows what I'm asking.

I did the 7 step procedure. 897 channels on a dsr922 motorola made in 2005.

I notice that some of my channel's quality levels seems to have dropped. Is this just a coincidence?

Is there an easy way to figure out when your 922 was manufactured? I'm guessing it is printed somewhere on the unit or on a board inside. Thanks.

If you want to get subscription programming on the 920, there is no need to have the receiver on anything but W5.

I'm up and running on 4dtv. :) It' took me all day from assembly of a 6 footer (one WSI $69.99 deals) to programming on W5 with a dsr922. I have an extra dsr922 in the classified section if anyone is interested.

Can you get programming on multiple receivers without paying for two whole subscription packages? I want to have two receivers hooked up to two tvs. I emailed skyvision a while back and they said it was possible with the 410s. Since the 410s were out of stock I picked up a couple of 922 off...

Does keeping the receiver plugged into a battery backup power supply keep the receiver safe, in case the battery on the motherboard goes dead?

Nope, that wasn't me. I tried to bid only on ones that appeared to be from someone who knew what they had and was still in working condition. Hopefully it works out. It wouldn't be the first time someone on ebay lied :rant:
