Does keeping the receiver plugged into a battery backup power supply keep the receiver safe, in case the battery on the motherboard goes dead?

I keep my 922 on a UPS since the 4D don't like power glitches. Allows you to shut it down gracefully if the power outage runs longer than the UPS supplies too.
It would keep the receiver safe until you shut the UPS down. Replacing the battery is your best bet before you ever get to that state though.
