Specifically, I want a fixed unit on 97W, for Al Jazeera, Russia Today, CNC and Press TV. The others that I'd love fixed would be all of the live news channels on 99W.

Anyone know if it could be used on 97, for some of the news channels? I've been needing a fixed receiver, this might be worth it since I already have it.

Got it. Made to bring in one channel or channels on one TP at the best res possible for rebroadcasting or high res output somewhere. Totally useless unless it can be used on 97 since I've yet to buy a receiver for that.

So can it be used for anything or is it a door stop?

I see a few threads about this unit but I'm wondering if it could replace my DSR-410 so that I could get better audio/video.

I have the switcher extended using Component over Ethernet to the TV upstairs. While come might argue 'there's the problem', other Components signals coming into the TV are very clear and hi-res. Could be I have another problem unit or could be something else, don't know at the moment.

That's what it was, the 922 has motor control built in. There are update instructions for these on skyvision and I seem to recall these work with W5 as well. I think when I was looking around, there weren't many W5 like services around and that the 92* series were mostly being used by folks...

So what's the advantage of using the 922 over the dsr410? I've seen them with hd decoders.

Are there different DSR410 models? I've seen folks mention s-video ports in threads but mine only has composite. I want to get the best picture I can get from my W5 service but all I have is composite which ain't great on an HD tv.

My input might not be of much value unless this just happened but I rescanned 72W a while ago and there's a channel called GHANA PATH 2 up there at the moment which is raw news being shot. 72w 11710 v 3970
