Hello everyone, Well the Sami is tracking the arc. I spent about six hours trying to find my true south satellite with no luck and then I read through Dee Ann’s thread again and another thread about declination and figured out that I was using the wrong elevation. I was using the elevation...

Thank you for checking again Phlatwound. Does this transponder require manual PID entry? I am using a Fortec Star Dynamic receiver and cannot enter these manually, or I don't know how if you can. I will have to use the AZBox if the Fortec will not work. Have a great day

Hello everyone, Today the wife and I went and picked up a 10’ Sami from a kind Gentleman about three miles from our home. The pole the dish was setting on had no concrete in the hole so I don’t think it would track the arc very well. The dish passed the string test so I hope it will make a...

How much did you pay for your first C-Band dish?

$1800+ for a Unimesh 10' and a Uniden STB in 1993 We used it for 7-8 years and then went with Directv. We dismantled the dish and hauled it off, man I wish I had that dish back.

    Birdview?

Stopped and talked to the owner of the Birdview today. He said he was going to turn it upside down and make something out of it, I assume a gazebo. I didn't offer him any $ for it but I may go back in a week or two and offer him $50 for it.

    Birdview?

I spotted a solid Birdview a couple of miles from home and was wondering if I would be able to get most C-band signals with the 8 1/2' dish or should I keep looking for a 10' mesh dish. Take care
