Nice install, looks like my Winegard Pinnacle. I didn't have to change the elevation or declination, because my dish came from 30 miles south of my location. All I did was move the dish to the top of the arc, then turn it on the pole to a strong transponder on my TS satellite, then lock it down...

I saw that one. I'm south of Austin about 80 miles. The guy is pretty smart, for not giving up the 922 until the dish is loaded on the truck.

I found my 4" pipe at a salvage yard. A new 10' length was $75. They allowed me to walk around the salvage yard and look for a used one. I found a 8 ft one within 15 minutes. It was $18. I got dirty carrying it back to the office, but saved quite a bit and the length was perfect. Good Luck

Pendragon, that'll work too. The reason I was thinking about cutting off some of the pole was just looking at the mount on the pole, it looks like, with the dish on the mount, it would be hard to get to the lnb from a 6 ft ladder because of having to reach over the edge of the dish to get to it...

I'll leave it where it is in picture 2 & tie the mount to the pole so it doesn't swing, then try to get the dish up & start a bolt. First one will be the hardest, then I would think I can swing it up to start the other bolts. No sideways mounts!! Man, glad it's not 12 foot. The hard part is yet...
